Joseph M. Sembrot

Joseph M. Sembrot was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and was admitted to practice law in 1994. He graduated with distinction from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991 (B.A. magna cum laude). He received his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law (J.D. 1994), where he served as a member of the Law Review and was the author of Accountants' Liability and a Proposal for Tort Reform, 1998 Dickinson Law Review 133 (1993). Mr. Sembrot is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Sembrot served as a Senior Deputy District Attorney for Dauphin County (1994-2000), where he tried both jury and non-jury trials and argued appellate cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Superior Court. He further served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General (2000 - 2003), concentrating in the prosecution of health care fraud and abuse. Mr. Sembrot also litigated civil defense cases specializing in products liability, professional liability, and construction litigation. Mr. Sembrot now practices in the areas of criminal law and personal injury.
