Arnold B. Kogan

Arnold B. Kogan was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was admitted to the bar in 1970. Arnold is admitted to the Pennsylvania courts, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Arnold received degrees from Dickinson College (B.A., 1967) and The Dickinson School of Law (J.D., 1970) where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Trade Regulation. He also has been a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania since 1973. He has written many articles for publication. He was a member of the Harrisburg Zoning Board in 1978 and a member of the Board of Directors, Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors from 1992-1994. Arnold is also a member of the Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations (Member, Sections on: Taxation; Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, including being past Section Council; Chairman, Statewide Computerization Committee, 1993-1996) and American Bar Association (Member, Sections on: Taxation, including its Committee on Real Estate Tax Problems, 1991-Present; Real Property, Probate and Trust Law; Business Law, including its Committee on Partnerships and Unincorporated Business Organizations and Subcommittee on Limited Liability Companies; Public Utility; Communications and Transportation Law; Pennsylvania Association of Realtors; and National Association of Realtors.

Arnold currently serves as the chairperson of the Subcommittee on Deeds and Land Records of the Advisory Committee on Real Estate Law of the Joint State Government Commission. The committee is responsible for advising on the modernization and codification of Pennsylvania's real estate statutes. He advises trade associations and other nonprofit organizations, as well as business and real estate clients, and maintains an extensive collection of research materials and online and local computer resources to service the specialized needs of the firm's clients. He practices in the areas of Tax, Business, and Real Estate Law.
