Jerry J. Russo

Jerry J. RussoJerry J. Russo was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. He was admitted to the bar in 1989. He joined Goldberg Katzman in 1994 and is the chair of the firm’s Criminal Defense practice area. He also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. Jerry received degrees from the University of Pittsburgh (B.A., 1985) and Widener University School of Law (J.D., 1989). He was admitted to the Pennsylvania courts and to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Jerry was an Adjunct Professor for the Central Pennsylvania Business School (1991-1993) and Senior Deputy District Attorney, Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office, 1989-1992. He is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on all matters of criminal law. In December of 1999, Jerry was appointed by the governor of Pennsylvania to serve as a member of the Minor Judiciary Education Board. He is a member of the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations and Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (member, Board of Directors, 1996). He practices in the area of Criminal Law, in both federal and state court.
